Your unforgettable civil wedding or civil partnership ceremony
The Tithe Barn is fully licensed for civil weddings and civil partnerships. Your ceremony will be carried out by a Hampshire registrar and can be personalised to suit your style.
One end of the Tithe Barn makes an intimate space for ceremonies and is popular with many couples as it has a classic, church-like feel.
You might have poetry and readings, favourite songs or perhaps a friend playing the guitar.
Use your imagination!
A civil ceremony allows more scope for imagination than a church service. At the Tithe Barn the rings have come down the walkway in a James Bond remote control car, been flown in by an owl or carried by dogs.
A member of the Tithe Barn staff will be on duty to co-ordinate the ceremony with the registrar. (And will then be discreet but on hand if needed during your reception.)
Once the civil ceremony has taken place you can opt for a blessing.
We have welcomed some beautiful Hindu ceremonies as well.
